Advanced English learning for secondary school students
From 5th grade onwards, things get serious – requirements increase and suddenly grades really count. In my Access courses, I specifically prepare students for exactly these challenges. We work on all important areas: grammar, text comprehension, free speaking, and confident writing.
The entry into secondary school! We lay a solid foundation here with basic structures and the most important vocabulary. Students learn to understand simple texts and conduct short conversations – perfect for a successful start.
Now grammar becomes more challenging and texts more complex. Students work on longer reading texts and learn to write coherent texts. My focus here is particularly on ensuring they really understand the grammar and don't just memorize rules.
This is about more than just correct sentences: Students learn to analyze texts, justify opinions, and express complex thoughts. Critical thinking takes center stage – an important skill not only for English, but for all subjects!
Preparation for final exams and advanced courses! We work on fluency, differentiated expression, and confident handling of demanding texts. After this course, students can really apply English at a good level – as shown by feedback from parents and students.

I've been working with the Access series from Express Publishing for many years with great pleasure. The books are challenging but not overwhelming – just right for secondary school students. I particularly value the diverse text types and well-thought-out exercises that really help to actively master the language and not just passively understand it.
