Hello! I'm Saima – many also know me as Sonia
For over 10 years, I've been teaching English to children and teenagers – and I can honestly say: it's more than just my job, it's my passion. Every day, experiencing how a child suddenly understands how a sentence works, or how proud a teenager is when they independently write an English text for the first time – these are the moments I do this job for.
What brings me particular joy: working with the very young, the kindergarten children. Their enthusiasm, curiosity, and uninhibited approach to learning are simply contagious! But I also care deeply about the older students – especially when school pressure increases and they need someone to support them with patience and understanding.
Every child is different – I've experienced this time and again over the years. Some are shy and need more time and encouragement. Others are lively and need variety and movement. Still others are very eager to learn and want to understand everything precisely. That's why I try to design my lessons so that every child finds their place and feels comfortable.
It's also important to me that parents always know where their child stands. I'm always open to conversations and happy to provide feedback – because only together can we optimally support the children.
My academic background gives me a deep understanding of the English language – from grammar to stylistics to cultural contexts. This knowledge flows into every lesson, even if the children might not notice it directly.

Through my TEFL training, I learned how to teach English as a foreign language truly effectively – with modern methods that focus on communication and practical application.
What I've learned over all these years isn't in any textbook: how to deal with shy children, how to motivate teenagers, when to praise and when to challenge. This experience is invaluable – and your child benefits directly from it.
No child learns like another. I take time to get to know each child and adapt my lessons – so that everyone can truly succeed.
Many children don't dare to speak English because they're afraid of making mistakes. With me, mistakes are allowed – that's the only way to learn! I create an atmosphere where children feel safe.
Learning a language should be fun! That's why I work with games, songs, stories, and everything that motivates children. Because those who learn with joy learn best.
You as parents are the most important partners in your child's learning process. That's why I'm always open to conversations and regularly inform you about progress and any difficulties.
Do you have questions? Would you like to learn more about my lessons? I look forward to hearing from you!
