Structured English learning for primary school students
During primary school years, we lay the important foundation for all future school years. My Smiles courses combine fun learning with clear structure – so children stay motivated while building solid English skills that will really help them in secondary school.
The start of structured English learning! Children learn first words and simple sentences they can use right away. We work with colorful pictures, songs, and small dialogues – keeping it exciting while children realize: "I can already speak English!"
Now we systematically expand vocabulary and introduce first grammar rules – but always in a way that makes sense to children. Gradually they dare to tackle their first short texts. The sense of achievement motivates and creates appetite for more!
Children become more independent: They read short stories, write their own sentences, and conduct simple conversations. It's particularly important to me here that they begin to understand connections rather than just memorizing.
Now it's time for fine-tuning! Grammar becomes more complex, texts longer. Children learn to express themselves more precisely – both orally and in writing. This is the perfect preparation for secondary school.
The bridge to secondary school! Here we consolidate everything learned and specifically prepare children for the demands of middle or high school. After this course, children enter 5th grade with a really good feeling – and it shows!
